Dear Forum Family,
It’s hard to believe that it’s been just two weeks since our lives and routines were turned upside down.
How are you doing?
I hope that you and all members of our extended Forum Family are staying close to home and “social distancing” during this time of uncertainty and rapid change. Your health and well-being are what matter most.
It’s not easy, this notion of social distancing.
For 29 years, The Connecticut Forum has been in the business of bringing people together for hugs, high fives, and powerful face-to-face conversations.
Bringing people together lies at the heart of everything we do. It’s our mission and our driving force: to encourage the free and active exchange of ideas in forums that inform, challenge, entertain, inspire, and build bridges among all people and organizations in our community.
And we’re not about to stop now.
I want you to know that all of us at The Forum are being safe, working remotely, and enjoying virtual “face-to-face” meetings through the wonders of video conferencing technology.
We are actively planning next season and will soon be sharing updates and news about our upcoming events. Stay tuned.
And right now, we are exploring exciting new ways for us to be together while being apart – opportunities for ALL of us to stay informed, challenged, entertained, inspired, and most of all…connected during the coming weeks and months.
We are here for you!
All my best,
Doris
