Most recently noted for his television coverage on Somalia, Dr. Bob Arnot is one of he most recognized names in the medical and health professions. As the CBS News Medical Correspondent, Dr. Bob has appeared on CBS This Moring, CBS Nightly News with Dan Rather, CBS Healthbreak, 48 Hours, 60 minutes and West 57th.

Dr. Bob is well known for his documentaries, one of which won the DuPont Award for its insiders look at the use and abuse of crack (48 Hours on Crack Street) Others include 48 Hours: Smoking, Aids Hits Home and 48 Hours: War on Heart Disease. Additionally, Dr. Bob has reported on the health conditions in the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear accident, as well as the caretaking methods that are used after natural disasters such as hurricane Hugo and the Armenian earthquake.

A graduate of Dartmouth and McGill Medical Schools, Dr. Bob began his medical career as the founder and chief of Lake Placid Sports Medicine, where he not only served as the administrator, but also the physician for the 1977-80 U.S. Ski Team and the 1980 Winter Olympic Games.
