Colin Cowherd is a popular sports radio and television personality for ESPN. He is the host of The Herd with Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio and SportsNation, a fast-paced, audience-driven sports show on ESPN2. Named Nevada's Sportscaster of the Year five times by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association, as well as the 2005 Radio Personality of the Year by Sports Illustrated, Cowherd's unique brand of acerbic wit and provocative attitude has earned him a dedicated radio and television audience.

In 2003, Cowherd was selected to replace Tony Kornheiser for the late morning time slot on ESPN Radio. His show, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, is a syndicated talk radio show broadcast on ESPN Radio affiliates throughout the U.S. and online at ESPNRadio.com for three hours each day. The show features incendiary commentary on sports news, perspective on other news stories, and interviews with popular analysts and sports figures. Although a sports broadcast, he often reflects on personal life and business as it relates to the sports world.

In July of 2009, SportsNation debuted on ESPN2. The show quickly became a hit for the network, a fact that Cowherd attributes to its innovative approach and his on-set chemistry with co-host Michelle Beadle. Cowherd and Beadle keep the show loose and fun with live, interactive polls, a boisterous audience and their often fiery rapport.

Cowherd grew up in Grayland, Washington, and attended Eastern Washington University where he began his career as the play-by-play voice for the Pacific Coast League's Las Vegas Stars. He eventually became a sports director at KVBC-TV in Las Vegas, where he was named Nevada's Sportscaster of the Year five times.
