Just Announced! Rescheduled date for An Evening with Yo-Yo Ma:
Tuesday, November 9, 2021, LIVE at The Bushnell
Truth, trust, and service: how culture connects us.
Cellist Yo-Yo Ma will explore the role culture can play in helping us to imagine and build a better future, drawing on examples from his own life as a musician and citizen. Yo-Yo’s presentation is rooted in the belief that at a moment when our world is challenged by the pace of change and the divisions it can create, the values that culture promotes — truth, trust, and service — are essential to our survival.
This special conversation with Yo-Yo Ma will be moderated by Jeffrey Brown, PBS NewsHour Arts Correspondent.
As an added benefit, this Forum will be available via livestream for ticketholders not comfortable attending in-person.
Health & Safety Update: We are following The Bushnell Theater’s health and safety measures, including mask and vaccination requirements for all attendees. Please visit The Bushnell’s dedicated COVID-19 page to get the most up-to-date information. Although The Bushnell’s current policies are in place through October 31, 2021, it is anticipated that those policies will be extended. An official extension or modification will be shared as soon as possible.
An Evening with Yo-Yo Ma is brought to you in part with generous support from Connecticut Humanities.
