Mort Sahl is a political satirist who confronts the awful truth and makes it funny. Regarded as an American original, Sahl was the 1st humorist to appear on the cover of Time, the 1st performer to make a comedy album, the 1st non-musician to win a Grammy, and the 1st to bring live comedy to college campuses. Also an in-demand political scribe, Sahl wrote numerous speeches for former presidents including JFK and Ronald Reagan.
