Known for blending knowledge and savvy with her own brand of conservatism, Laura Ingraham is the host of her own syndicated radio program, which is heard on 306 stations and on Sirius and XM Satellite Radio. Ingraham is also a bestselling author. Her most recent book, Power to the People was released on Sept.11, 2007 and topped Amazon's bestseller list on Sept 14. She is also a frequent television commentator on Fox News.In Power to the People, Ingraham focuses on what she calls the "pornification" of America. She discusses issues such as traditional family values, education, and American patriotism. The book stresses the importance of getting involved in the culture: "The main thread that runs through these topics I cover in the book is civic involvement and civic virtue. Get in the game." Her other books include Shut Up & Sing: How the Elites in Hollywood, Politics...and the UN are Subverting America and The Hillary Trap, first released in June 2000.

After graduating from Dartmouth College, Ingraham worked as a speechwriter in the final two years of the Reagan Administration at the White House, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Education. She went on to graduate from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was Notes Editor of the Law Review. She served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Ralph K. Winter on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. After clerking, Ingraham worked as a white-collar criminal defense attorney for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom until 2001 when she launched The Laura Ingraham Show.
